Ashburn Gallery was established in April 2019 by Sue Sturton who formerly ran the Brownston Gallery in Modbury, South Hams. It is housed within a character Grade II listed period building spread over three floors.

The building was extensively renovated under Sue's supervision and is a wonderful, well lit space to display the art works with a warm, relaxed feel. The river Ashburn winds its way through the town between the old historic buildings including to the rear of Ashburn Gallery. The rear elevation of the property is clad with an asbestos based material, as was commonly used in the 1950's, and when our client purchased the property they were advised to leave it in situ.

Numerous artists exhibit their works on a sale or return commission basis and there is a fully operational e-commerce website with growing sales levels included with the sale.

On the second floor of the building is a fully equipped picture framing workshop with lots of potential to increase this side of the business by offering a retail framing service to the public.
