Highweek is a well regarded residential area within the South Devon market town of Newton Abbot. There is a local village pub, meeting hall and parish church.

Newton Abbot town is around a fifteen minute walk away and has a modern pedestrianised shopping centre, numerous restaurants/eateries and mainline railway station. There is a wide choice of state and independent educational facilities in the area including nearby Stover School and the Torquay Boys and Girls Grammar Schools, which are within striking distance.

Both Dartmoor and the coast are less than half an hour by car and the cathedral city of Exeter is within daily commuting distance and is where the national motorway network can be joined.

Saddleback is a superb family home understood to have been built in 1936 and substantially remodelled and upgraded around 7 years ago, whilst retaining original features such as wood parquet floors, picture rails and distinctive bay windows.

The interior is light and spacious and several rooms have lovely views towards either the hillside at Highweek Parish Church or the wooded hills that form the backdrop to Newton Abbot.

The kitchen and bathrooms have quality fittings and there is tasteful flooring and décor throughout.

There is a ground floor shower room, wet room and utility room in one wing of the property which has potential to create a suite for independent living.

Outside, the dining room has a front verandah with a balcony leading off the second bedroom.

The house is tucked nicely above Coombeshead Road with lots of parking, a double garage and large, very private, rear garden.

From the roundabout by Newton Abbot Leisure Centre take the A383 Ashburton Road and at the traffic lights turn right, signposted Highweek Village, into Coombeshead Road. At the brow of the hill bear left into a continuation of Coombeshead Road where Saddleback will be found after a few hundred yards, on the right
